Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
this happened after logging into to cut the cord and now i cant use discord unless i make a new account cause i logged into cut the cord on all my alt accounts and my main and it did this to them
logging into cuthecord and it made me verify by phone now you could say its just by chance that right when i logged into cutthecord it made me verify by phone to use my account
Discord can notice when you're on a phone, and it only allows only one phone number per account, hence the verification enforcement.
i never had a phonenumber added to that account before
and i was on a tablet when it happened not a phone

Exactly. Discord notices that you're using the account from a phone yet the account does not have any phone number registered.
That is the same thing as a phone, from Discord's perspective.
it dont do this on the normal client for me though just this one
because you're running two discord clients in the same tablet, the second one becomes suspicious.

Same happened with me too but my issue was unknown cause i got no alts it just happened when I tried joining a server. Hence I'm not using Cutthecord currently..
And also I can't login + stay logged it without verifying my phone number,the moment I remove my number it throws me out.

Because Discord does not think only one is suspicious. Two, however, is.
So basically once I've verified my phone number I'm safe
I sincerely doubt that this has anything to do with CTC.
Discord has been pushing more and more for phone numbers to be added to accounts lately, with almost all registrations requiring it and everything.
I feel like this is not something that is there to target CTC users, but just something that is happening with discord in general.
that sucks then cause not everyone who is a gamer has a phone number
I have to agree that I find requiring stuff like phone numbers or identity documents to be problematic, but sadly there's not a lot I can do about it.
I know this is two months old now but it only seems to be editing account details and potentially joining servers whilst on an older client version that seems to be phone locking.
Just avoid that until CTC can get updated and phone number locking shouldn't be an issue.
I had the same issue happen to me as well. Installed CtC and used it for a short period before getting locked out of an active session and forced to verify via phone. What was even worse was Discord was not accepting my phone number as valid to verify! I contacted support and escalated the issue to finally receive a humans response telling me I am not able to use that number to verify my account, and with no further explanation as to what the problem was.
Fast forward a couple of months now and I forgot I still had CtC installed on my mobile. I thought I'd give it another shot. Right away I'm required to verify via SMS again...This time it accepted my number though! Eureka! I go through the login process yet again and I can see my last conversation in the home window and the sidebar populated with PM and server list. No more than 10 seconds later and I'm back at the login dialog again. No worries, "I'm verified now" I was thinking...Login fails, account has been disabled...in my email inbox is an email from Discord official timestamped within the last few minutes stating my account is now disabled for violating ToS. There is no specifics cited as the violation but it is clearly from CtC. I'll be in contact with Discord support again to hopefully recover my account, but I'm not getting my hopes up this time around.
tldr; I am quite certain CtC got my account disabled officially after finally being able to successfully verify via phone. All current and potential users of the app, use at your own risk of loss of account due to ToS violation until the issues reported in this thread can be acknowledged as valid and/or resolved successfully.
