+Finally we can get this newsletter rolling!
+
+Sometimes I sit there and wish that the Internet
+was the same as it was so long ago. A magical wild west,
+filled with originality, minimalism, and all around amazing.
+According to Cheapskate's Guide[1], it's showing signs of coming
+back... slowly. To me the old internet isn't just slow dialup internet,
+it's that - and more. The terrible web design, the crazy chats
+happening on IRC servers across the globe. It was paradise, before all
+the drama, before all the toxicity, before everything we have today.
+It was freedom digitalized.
+
+There's a few projects that try to encapsulate the old internet,
+namely The Old Net [2], Wiby[3], and Textfiles[4]. These alone are very
+cool projects, some of which inspired this little newsletter.
+As you can tell, we have a lot to say and we're planning it out slowly.
+
+On our GitDab (gitdab.com/cc), you'll find this newsletter, plus some other
+fun things we create while making CC. If you want, you can fork the project
+and submit your own text in!
