On Matrix-side, the referenced message from the first user appears to have been sent by the second user. But the second user merely started the thread based off that msssage.

It's not always possible to send the context message as its original author. If the context message was from Matrix originally, the bridge can't send an event as that Matrix user.

Fixed in 1016fb1 by making the thread start context message always come from the OOYE bot user.
