slice.ci.splash source_slice: a root's optional dependencies are sliced only when the slice's features turn them on -- the Builder builds a release with cargo build -p <root> --no-default-features --features <release features>, so a root's optional crates behind its default features (Scope's new internal: the agents and the Time Machine) are never compiled by a customer and must not ship in the slice either.
