The WM runs on the HAL direct shell: own cursor, per-output modes with try/confirm/revert, Extended and Mirror (optimise for a screen), pacing setting, a redesigned Display menu with a snapping scale slider, a lower dock whose hits reach the screen edge, clicks only to the topmost window, and asking the AI hub for GPU memory under pressure. Hosted apps state their wire protocol (stale ones are rebuilt), and phone builds list only mobile apps with live home tiles. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

# wm-phone -- the window manager of the phone: apps/wm in its Android skin, every app a JIT
# domain of the same process (cargo makepad android run-host --privileged --app makepad-app-wm-phone
# --app <each app>). Nothing of the desk lives here: this crate is the `WmBuild` (no linked
# modules, no client processes, the Android style) around `makepad-app-wm`'s App.
