makepad/apps/browser_host/Cargo.toml
Admin 58140914b0 browser: the web engine out of process, frames on the GPU
The browser engine runs only in its own lazily started host process
(makepad-app-browser-host) hosted through app_host: one process, a window
per tab, frames handed over as shared GPU textures (IOSurface, DMA-BUF,
NT handles), lossless capture with back-pressure for recording, audio
through a shared ring. Apps link no CEF.

# browser_host -- the one process that runs Chromium for a makepad app.
#
# Apps never load CEF (libs/cef) themselves: libs/browser_view starts this
# app as a hosted child (libs/app_host) on the first web view and stops it
# with the last. Every view is one CEF browser (GPU-accelerated paint copied
# into the app's frame ring) and one hosted window that is never drawn,
# carrying the page's geometry and input; the app keeps its own chrome
# (tabs, address bar) and drives the page with browser_view's messages. It
# only runs hosted (--stdin-loop).
