They are real performances — played dynamics, pedalling and rubato — which is

|
why they are here: an engraving says which notes, a performance says how they
|
|
were struck, and only the second one tells you whether an instrument sounds
|
|
like an instrument.

They are distributed UNMODIFIED, as a collection alongside this application.
|
|
The ShareAlike term binds adaptations of these files; it does not reach the
|
|
application's own source, which stays under the repository's licence. Anyone
|
|
redistributing them must keep this notice, and anyone publishing an ADAPTATION
|
|
of one of them (an edited MIDI, say) must license that adaptation under
|
|
CC BY-SA 3.0 as well.
|
|
|
|
The application credits Bernd Krueger and piano-midi.de in its About dialog and
